Finished in a soft speckled gray glaze, the vase is decorated with inset oval medallions displaying geometric motifs in cobalt blue, turquoise, lavender, and rust. Turquoise glaze subtly pools around the pierced openings, adding depth to the design. The white-glazed foot, with exposed red clay at the edges, suggests hand-finishing rather than mass production.
